1. About

Pitlog is an application for tracking components, wear, and sessions for RC (radio-controlled) models. The app is developed and distributed by an independent developer. For any enquiries: info@pitlog.it

2. Personal data collected

Pitlog does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

Specifically, the app:
– Does not require registration or an account
– Does not collect names, emails, location, or any other identifying information
– Does not send data to external servers
– Does not use profiling cookies or any tracking or analytics systems
– Contains no advertising

3. Data stored on device

All data entered by the user (RC cars, components, sessions, inventory) is saved exclusively in the device’s local storage (localStorage). This data never leaves the device and remains under the user’s full control. It can be deleted at any time by clearing the app data in the device settings.

4. Notifications

The app may send local alert notifications (e.g. component wear limit reached). Permission is explicitly requested and can be revoked at any time via the device’s system settings. Notifications are generated entirely on-device and involve no data transmission.

5. Purchase and payment

Pitlog is a paid app. Transactions are handled entirely by Google Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iOS). The developer does not receive or process payment data. For information on purchase data processing, refer to Google’s or Apple’s privacy policies.

6. Third-party libraries

The app uses the SheetJS Community Edition library for the Excel export feature (.xlsx). Processing occurs entirely on-device: no data is sent to SheetJS servers or any third party.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data relating to minors.

8. Changes to this policy

If there are material updates to this policy, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after publication constitutes acceptance of the changes.
